DAR MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 06-88

SUBJECT    :     Guidelines in Investigating and Processing Voluntary Offers to Sell
(VOS) Filed Prior to 14 June 1988, the Date of Effectivity of R.A. 6657.

In view of the enactment of R.A. 6657, the following guidelines are hereby issued to be observed in investigating and processing VOS filed by landowners prior to 14 June 1988:

1.         Land valuation shall be treated under Administrative Order No. 5, Series of 1988 if the letter-offer in CARP (VOS) Form No. 1, together with the required documents, was received by DAR before 14 June 1988; and

2.         Landowners compensation, particularly the percentage of cash downpayment, and beneficiaries amortization shall be treated under R.A. 6657.

This circular amends Administrative Order No. 5-88, Series of 1988 and shall take effect immediately.
